In partnership with the Atlanta Science Festival, West Atlanta Watershed Alliance (WAWA) is hosting two events: Afro-STEAM and Outdoor Odyssey with the goal of bringing youth and their families into nature and engaged in STEAM activities.

WAWA's 19th annual Urban Forest Fest is a multi-site celebration of community, creativity, and care for Atlanta’s urban forests. This year's theme is "RADiance: Restoration, Activation, and Discovery". We invite you to glow and reconnect with nature!

In Solidarity with the Muscogee (Creek) Nation (the original inhabitants of the land WAWA stewards) and all indigenous nations, we are excited to host a week of events to bring awareness to the indigenous community & to move us beyond land acknowledgment.

A Partial Solar Eclipse is hitting Atlanta on April 8th from 1:30-4:30 PM. Register to join WAWA in this once-in-a-lifetime event.

Participants will be led by creative thinkers and poets in a workshop embracing how experiences in natural environments connect us to creative expressions, increased literacy skills, and a higher appreciation for the world around us.
