Set in the heart of San Francisco's vibrant western SOMA district, Heron Arts occupies a converted brick firehouse built in the early 1900s. Adorned with a soaring trumpet vine that frames the classic arched glazing, the facade gives way to a naturally lit interior best described as minimalist industrial chic. The open interior space accomodates a wide variety of installation formats.Heron Arts was founded in 2013 by Mark Slee, an active member of San Francisco's creative community, organizing events since the mid-2000s. Prior to Heron Arts, Slee was a member of Facebook's product design and development team.
