Happy Days Enniskillen International Beckett Festival designs and curates cultural and education events in Enniskillen, County Fermanagh, Northern Ireland, that celebrate the town’s literary heritage of Oscar Wilde and Nobel Laureate Samuel Beckett who both attended Portora Royal School, Wilde (1864-71) and Beckett (1920-23). Happy Days Enniskillen International Beckett Festival was founded in 2012 by its Creative Director, Seán Doran and has worked with businesses, schools and hundreds of volunteers across Fermanagh since its inception. In its first ten years (2012-2022) the organisation presented 13 festivals comprising a total of 293 events that included 41 new productions and new works, 28 site-specific productions, 37 musical concerts, 19 visual art exhibitions and 88 visiting writer-in- conversations.
