Cardiff Bjj Open

RULES: Matches will be 2 minutes for “Mighty Mite” (Ages 4-6), 3

minutes for “Pee Wee” (Ages 7-9) and 4 minutes for “Juniors” (Ages

10-12). This competition will adhere to the IBJJF ruleset. These rules

can be found on the IBJJF.com website.

WEIGH IN’S: Will open 9:00am and Close 1 hour before your

division. Competitors must wear Gi trousers and T’shirt, with a 0.2kg

allowance. Only where possible will division will be allowed.

BRACKETS & SCHEDULE: The brackets and schedule will be

available to view on the day. Times may vary during the event and

should only be considered as a guideline.

TEAM TROPHY: Competitor points will be calculated during the

competition and the top 3 academies will receive bespoke event

trophies.

COACH ACCREDITATION: One representative from a competitors

academy will be allowed mat side to support them. Unsporting or

aggressive behaviour will result in coaches being asked to leave the

event.

SPECTATORS: Will be free.
