Little League Baseball and Softball,

Little League Northern California Section 1 is comprised of 5 Little League Districts (3,4, 35,53 and 64) that support local leagues in San Francisco, Marin, Napa, Solano, Sonoma, Mendocino, Solano, Contra Costa, Alameda and Yolo Counties. More than 20,000 youth participate in baseball and softball programs in Section 1 leagues.

The volunteer Little League umpire is a key member of the program, helping to ensure that games are played in accordance with the rules, in a safe and sportsmanlike manner. Their is along tradition of training and developing both youth and adult umpires across northern California.
