We are Her Social Edit - Two friends from similar backgrounds who live and breathe Leicester. As life has moved through different stages, we’ve realised our social circles have changed too. While we still have wonderful friends, everyone is on their own path, and that can sometimes leave you feeling like you’ve outgrown the spaces that once fit.
We’re no longer in our 20s where nightlife is the default — we’re in our 30s and 40s, wanting to slow things down while still enjoying meaningful social connection.
We noticed Leicester was missing a welcoming space for women in this stage of life, and that’s why we created Her Social Edit: A community designed to reimagine how women build friendships in their 30s, making connection feel natural, accessible, and exciting again through thoughtfully curated, solo-friendly social events for women who want more from their social lives.
