Madison Area Master Gardeners Association
In 1986, a small group of certified master gardeners decided to create an association to better promote community service in horticutltural projects and offer continuing education. They named themselves the Madison Area Master Gardeners Association. Their first gathering on February 18, 1986 planted the seeds of what would become MAMGA.
Today, MAMGA is a gardening nonprofit dedicated to education, volunteerism, community support and partnerships.
