Daum Gallery

Daum Gallery is a new gallery opening on April 20th in the heart of the Dallas Design District. Our mission is to not only showcase and promote local Dallas artists, but to also create a unique gallery experience by hosting an array of art shows and community events. Daum Gallery seeks to disrupt the stuffy white-wall gallery model by providing a warm and inviting space open to the public with a free coffee bar and a gorgeous community space for gathering and collaborating. The artistic vibe that Daum Gallery boasts is ecclectic, modern, abstract and beautiful. The artists that we rerpresent are all career artists who have committed themselves thier craft and who are consistently producing new work.

Daum Gallery was founded by Taylor Daum, a local Dallas artist, who felt that galleries she visited in Dallas were often sparse, sterile, and to some degree unapproachable. In 2022, she decided to launch her first pop-up show called Dallas Artists Unite, which feaured artworks by 12 local artists for a span of 4 days. The show was a great success, and it created a momentum that afforded her the abilityto produce several other pop-up shows that year. With a track record of successful shows under her belt, Taylor decided to chase her dream and open her own gallery. She leased The TX Mill Equipment building located in the Dallas Design District, which she as designed to feel like a home away from home. Taylor plans to officially open Daum Gallery on April 20th, and from there, she will be hosting bimonthly events. Taylor's passion for music, nature, community, and personal growth will infuse her event program to provide an array of unique experiences designed to breath new life into the Dallas art scene. Simply put: expect the unexpected!
