The Berkeley Branch of the California Writers Club is a nonprofit 501(c)3 organization open to writers in every genre and at every level of experience, from novice to notable. Our purpose is to promote fellowship and to provide practical information that supports all members in achieving their literary and professional goals.

OUR MONTHLY SPEAKER PROGRAM is open to the public the Third Sundays from September to May. We alternate between meeting on Zoom and meeting in-person. Our Member Book Launch is the 3rd Saturday in June.

The California Writers Club, founded in 1909, is the oldest professional writing club in the West. The Berkeley Branch is the founding branch.
