Gym Space Equity

Gym Space Equity is an Oregon nonprofit, sponsored by SE Uplift.

GSEQ’s mission is to lower barriers & increase opportunities for BIPOC folks in fitness. Our endeavors help expand the experience of joy in movement!

We recognize the disparities in access to movement, competing, & coaching services, especially in BIPOC communities. Finances, discrimination, lack of representation & perceived (and at times legitimate) safety concerns are significant barriers to entry. It is our priority to address these shortcomings.

We host community-based fundraisers and events, to broaden our connections and continue gaining support for our mission.
