• Hampshire Junior Chess Association (“HJCA”) is affiliated to Hampshire Chess Association and promotes chess for junior (aged eighteen or less) chess players who reside or attend a school in the County of Hampshire.
• HJCA coordinates the organisation of events, organises its own events, manages Hampshire junior teams and generally manages junior chess activity in the Hampshire area.
• Our focus is to grow chess in schools, clubs, grow teams and support the senior teams that represent Hampshire.
• We have applied for membership of English Primary Schools Chess Association (EPSCA) and Southern Counties Chess Union(SCCU).
• We are recognised by the English Chess Federation (ECF) as a Junior Association
