Heretic Frequency started as a radio show but quickly grew to more than that - now it’s a movement amplifying the raw power of Australia's heavy music scene. Airing weekly on Phoenix FM 106.7 in Bendigo, VIC, and streaming worldwide, Heretic Frequency is hosted by Ez Eddy: scene lifer, music journalist, and unapologetic champion of all things loud, heavy, and real.

With a solid rep as a gig booker and event organiser, Ez doesn’t just spin tracks - she builds stages. Heretic Frequency hosts shows across Victoria, from Bendigo to Melbourne, Geelong, and soon Ballarat, connecting killer local lineups with diehard crowds. In 2025, she launched the inaugural TIC'd OFF festival - a Heretic Frequency-curated onslaught of heavy music that brought bands from across the east coast together for one hell of a debut.

The show proudly supports bands getting airplay by taking things offline and into the pit - booking VIC tours for interstate acts and working closely with emerging and established talent alike to grow the scene from the ground up. Heretic Frequency is here to shine a light on the explosive talent pulsing through Australia’s underground - giving it the airplay, stage time, and shout-outs it deserves.
