Founded by Michelle Peters, the adult daughter of an 85-year-old professional artist, Lignia grew from personal experience: the realization that managing a loved one’s studio can be overwhelming without guidance, tools, or a plan.

Through free and low-cost workshops, downloadable resources, and community conversations, Lignia gives artists and their families a starting point for legacy planning—without pressure, paperwork, or perfection.
