Lori Vafiades Studios

Lori Vafiades is an illustrator, watercolorist, art coach, and teacher with decades of experience helping others discover their creative voice. Her artwork has found homes around the world, and she is the illustrator of the children’s book Here I Am, the One You Love, which has more than 14,000 copies in print. Known for her encouraging and light-hearted teaching style, Lori loves guiding people of all skill levels to enjoy the process of creating art.

A longtime Colorado Springs resident, Lori shares life with her husband Nicholas (married 40 years!) and their two spirited chihuahuas, who keep things lively at home. Her classes are designed to be fun, inspiring, and approachable, giving you skills you’ll enjoy using again and again.
