Rada Collaborative

Rada Collaborative is a self-sustaining global network of Black, Indigenous and racialized filmmakers and artists. Our mission is to redefine the artistic canon by supporting emerging filmmakers from historically excluded communities. We believe that storytelling has the power to inspire, encourage introspection, and heal. We challenge established theories that focus solely on diverse representation. Instead, we prioritize a complex examination of character hierarchy, story motivation and agency within the artistic practice. Rada Collaborative is working towards a future where long-established narratives and power structures that exclude our stories are disrupted.
