Red Lion Pub

Founded in 2014 by British Natives, Chris Tinker and David Price. These childhood friends came to Milwaukee, WI in 2003 to attend Cardinal Stritch University on Soccer Scholarships. They found a home in Milwaukee, but felt they were missing something, the soccer and pub culture they had grown up in. “A Pub is not just a place to drink, it is a community living room, that is open for all. A place to catch up with others in the community, with loved ones, with fellow sports fans, and much more. All whilst socializing over a drink, and some food.” States Mr. Price. So in 2011 they pair opened their first Gastro Pub in Shorewood, WI. The Three Lions Pub , which has been a staple of the North Shore since. The two felt that downtown Milwaukee had fantastic bars and restaurants, filled with people from all over. Yet it was missing a “downtown community living room” so in 2014 they opened up the cozy Red Lion Pub at 1850 N Water Street.

Gastro pub food, 3 bars, 12+ TVs, 2 Projectors, Self designed, only rooftop Poolball (soccer pool) table in the US and a Lovely fireplace. Red Lion Pub has something for everyone.

Back in the UK, a good pub isn't just a place to grab a bite and a pint. It's also a fun spot where you can come to share stories, laughs, and great times. At Red Lion Pub, we're essentially the community living room. And we're on a mission to share our British hospitality with all of Milwaukee, complete with authentic beers and cocktails, a friendly atmosphere, and delicious food made entirely from scratch. You don't have to cross the pond to find yourself enjoying the British side of life -- just take a little stroll down Tannery Row. We'll be here to pour you a brew at Red Lion Pub, where customers and staff become friends, and friends become family.
