Shea The Maker

My work is all about joy—wearable, clip-on, stick-it-anywhere joy. I create playful, handmade jewelry and charms using polymer clay, ceramics, UV resin, and a lot of heart. Whether it’s a pair of smiley-face earrings, a hand-drawn sticker, or a tiny charm that makes your bag or phone just a little more you, my goal is to spark delight, laughter, and connection.

Trained in ceramics and a pottery teacher for over a decade, I fell in love with polymer clay during the pandemic—when the world felt heavy, I turned to something small and bright. That shift unlocked a new world of possibilities for charm-making, jewelry design, and silly-serious experimentation. Now, I blend my background in ceramic craft with pop-culture flair, using the best materials I can get my hands on: surgical steel, quality resin, and heaps of personality.

Inspired by city life in Chicago, the sparkle of K-Pop, global fashion, music, and all the weird little trends that make people smile, I aim to create work that’s as expressive as the people who wear it. You can find my pieces at music shows, local art markets, and select shops in both Chicago and Denver.
