We train over 100 trainee teachers every year, but also support ECTs and teachers throughout every stage of their careers.

The Sheffield Teacher Training Alliance (STTA) has at its heart Silverdale School, an Ofsted-rated Outstanding secondary school in Sheffield. 

We are one of the oldest and largest alliances, working with over 50 schools (primary, secondary and special) and two universities. We believe that collaboration is key to our success.

Our sister organisation runs the only national teacher training course dedicated to modern languages, the National Modern Languages SCITT, with geographical hubs across England.
