Mark Kesling is a Cape Cod–based artist, photographer, and designer whose work explores the intersections of art, nature, science, and perception. His creative practice includes watercolor painting, observational drawing, nature journaling, and experimental iPhone photography, with particular interests in light, color, composition, visual storytelling, intentional camera movement, and infrared imagery.

With more than 30 years of experience in museum and exhibit design, Mark has developed engaging experiences for institutions including The Children’s Museum of Indianapolis, Chicago’s Museum of Science and Industry, the Carnegie Museum, and the Exploratorium. As founder and principal designer of the daVinci Pursuit, he advanced the idea of a “museum without walls,” bringing interactive art-and-science experiences into neighborhoods and public spaces.

Mark now shares his multidisciplinary approach through workshops that invite adults to observe more closely, experiment freely, and discover new ways of seeing and expressing the natural world.
