Third Mind Books

Titled after the William S. Burroughs & Brion Gysin collaboration, Third Mind Books specializes in works by and about members of the Beat Generation & the San Francisco Renaissance. However, we are "Beat & Beyond" and offer items from the Modernist, "New York School" & "Black Mountain" canons, along with essential rarities from other notable movements and more recent publications of notable authors and philosophers. As a small venue, we host open mic nights monthly and writer speaking events throughout the year.
