Welcome to York Photography Network!

We are a small, friendly and informal photography group from York, UK.

Our vision is to create a community with an interest in any aspect of photography, with the emphasis being on meeting people through practical activities in a collaborative and supportive environment based around regular meeting nights.

We welcome everyone, with any level of experience and regardless of equipment, whether that’s a smartphone or any kind of conventional camera.

We call it a “network” to emphasise the collaborative and informal nature – there are no joining or membership fees, just come along and join in as and when you like. You are invited to make a pay-as-you-feel voluntary contribution towards group funds of £3 per session.

The activities are really just an excuse to get together, make some new friends and, above all, get shooting!
