YuShan Shakir created the Comedy Slam Fest in 2001 at a local club called the Robin's Nest helping to fill a void in the greater Cleveland comedy scene. Since then, the CSF has grown and continues to promote and produce quality shows throughout Northeast Ohio. Laughter is a key product in reducing the stressors of everyday life and that is the main goal of the CSF.
