River Expeditions

Join Captain's Chocolate for a hands-on workshop that takes you through the entire process of making delicious organic chocolate. Learn how to make chocolate mousse and truffles and take them home to share, give as a gift, or enjoy for yourself!

Ensure that Faith is a part of your child's adventures in nature! Classes meet September through May for a total of 18 sessions. Age groups available for kids 5-12-years-old. Individual season sign ups begin June 1st (Fall/Winter/Spring, 6 classes each).

Spend the day exploring the outdoors with activities guided by CEC educators. Fun for the whole family!

Enjoy a lovely summer evening outdoors while exploring an ecology topic and relaxing by the fire! Family-friendly and open to all.

Explore the wonders of the world around us in this nature program designed for kids aged 2-4 with their caregiver. Multiple dates available.

In this winter nature class series, we will experience the magic of the season through stories, songs, hands-on activities, and outdoor exploration. Each class brings a new topic to explore! Intended for children ages 2-4 with their caregiver.

The colder months are the ideal time to tackle property and trail maintenance projects here at the CEC. Come lend a hand! No experience necessary (except for chainsaw work). For ages 12 and up - those under 18 must be accompanied by a parent/guardian.
