BOI Thailand is the Thai government organization that assists foreign companies that want to become active or expand further in Thailand. BOI-supported companies can own 100% of the Thai company, own land for their manufacturing operations, and employ expats in their business. They can also benefit from a corporate tax exemption of up to 8 years, depending on the activity and/or region of the investment. Furthermore, BOI is there to assist with practical help regarding procedures, visas, introduction to business and government organizations, providing information about costs, legal and tax aspects, etc. BOI can also assist companies looking for Thai partners for a JV or partnership or for the procurement of parts and products from Thailand.
